Clearly I am not good at this blogging thing, but I figure better late than never. I really just want to have a way to remember all these times are that already going by so fast.
Henry is now 4 and 1/2 months old. He is still the best little baby!
Henry, what are you up to these days (will try to capture the last 2.5 months)?
You are now in a size 2 diaper and wear 3-6 month clothes. You are very long and lean.
You sleep 10-11 hours at night...God love you baby!
Some days you nap perfectly 2-3 times a day. Some days you take little naps. I prefer the good nap days! No matter what though, you have always slept through the night and you always wake up smiling.
You are nursing 5-6 times a day. You usually go 4 hours between feeds in the morning and afternoon.
You have been sleeping in your crib for about 2 months now. Such a big boy!
You like to play in your exersaucer now and don't prefer to swing as much as you used to.
You no longer sleep swaddled. I really thought we were going to have to wean you off it, but one night you just cried when I swaddled you so I took it off and you have been without it ever since.
You are always smiling. People comment on how happy you are all the time.
You have started laughing now. At first it was like you wanted to laugh, but couldn't get it out, but now you laugh a little more.
You have eaten rice cereal a few times in your high chair. You did a great job with it. You seemed a little gassy over the weekend when we ate it a bunch so I am laying off, but you know I am crazy about you having the oral motor skills to eat off a spoon so I will keep pushing it.
You got in the pool for the first time over the weekend and didn't mind one bit.
You still go the office every day with me. On Tuesday and Thursday afternoons you go to BeBe and BoBo's house. They just ADORE you!
You have figured out how to reach for things. You grab my hair all the time and it hurts. Putting you in your carseat always makes us laugh because you are so excited to eat the straps. Now you have a toy on your carseat that you can play with. The first time I saw you purposefully reach to move one of the parts I just stared at you in amazement. I can't believe how much you change so quickly.
When I look at you I am so motivated to be a better person...a better mom, a better wife, and a better business owner. I want everything that matters for you. I could try all night to put into words how you steal my heart every day, but I never could. Just know that you are SO LOVED!
